JUDITH UNGER’S ONE OF A KIND DRAWINGS AND SCULPTURE

My mother, a painter, encouraged me to draw at a young age. We’d ride the train

weekly from Connecticut into New York City. Chocolates and the Metropolitan

Museum of Art. We went so often I memorized whole rooms of paintings!

I remember looking way up at a room overflowing with Monet waterlilies. It was a

whole new world, especially for a small child.
