Get a fast-paced, “insiders tour” of the fair with Gene Seidman.
Designed for both novices and seasoned collectors, our affable docent guide will take you on a preplanned, curated walking tour to view many of the art highlights of the fair, throughout the 3 Pavilions. Fast moving, invigorating, educational and fun, you will examine museum-level and “must-see” pieces, and often get a personal perspective from the respective gallery owner. To enhance the experience, Mr. Seidman shares his secrets on how to “look at” and perceive fine art.
With a background at MoMA, Mr. Seidman now works with collectors, investors, museum curators, family offices, and art lovers regarding acquiring objects of beauty. Seidman is rigorously transparent, navigating the opaque $67 B global art world. Gene is also a Live + Lively Charity auctioneer, raising funds for non-profit organizations globally. He was recently named Cultural Ambassador for the non-profit New Yorkers for Culture and Art. Gene is passionate about making art more accessible to art lovers because it enables them to connect to their human side, their heart, their family, friends and themselves. He also runs an online course, The Art of Getting Art.
