Third Annual Hamptons Fine Art Fair Moves to Larger Field in Height of Summer Season, July 14-17, 2022
Opening night July 14 Bastille Day Vernissage benefits Guild Hall
Back by popular demand, the 2nd annual Hamptons Fine Art Fair expands from Southampton Arts Center to the expansive and easily accessible 17-acre Southampton Fairgrounds, neighboring Mercedes-Benz of Southampton dealership and the Southampton Golf Club. Located on the main thoroughfare that connects the tony Hamptons villages, the expansive field offers easy and convenient attendee parking within steps of the entrance. The 4-day event is strategically scheduled during the height of the summer season, July 14-17, 2022,
Says longtime show producer Rick Friedman, “With Covid now basically vanishing in the Hamptons, our eager guests, now maskless, are welcome to explore the gallery displays with more vim and vigor than ever.”
The fair offers the thousands of new Hamptons homeowners who relocated to the East End in the last 2 years, a convenient and dynamic marketplace in selection of art pieces for the decor of their homes.
Now under one roof
Staged in a 35,000 sq. ft. majestic Pollock Pavilion, the fair will present 50 select galleries from across the nation showcasing important modern and contemporary art. Upscale, curated and boutique, artwork prices start at $10,000 and run into the mid 6-figures.
UBS joins as lead sponsor
UBS will be exhibiting on-site, as well as entertaining their NYC area clients with guided tours of the art.
Opening night features a French theme
The coveted and glamorous opening night, the Bastille Day Vernissage, celebrates both Southampton as star new arts hotbed, as well as the national French holiday. Working closely with the French government agencies,to augment the luxurious experience, the evening will offer French champagne, wines, spirits, entertainment, music, and other surprises in the fair’s efforts to make it one of the most fun and memorable events on this season’s social calendar. Opening night gate revenue benefits Guild Hall, in East Hampton.
About the fair
The Hamptons fine art fair is produced by Southampton based ShowHamptons. This marks the 17th year producer Rick Friedman and his team are staging a major cultural event in the Hamptons.
