VAST is a Tribeca-based gallery and artist collective of photographers, engineers, artists, and computer scientists breaking ground at the intersection of art and tech by creating the highest resolution fine art photographs ever made. Unlike typical photos (10-50 megapixels) that lose quality when enlarged, “VAST photos” (800+ megapixels) remain perfectly sharp even at large print sizes.
Founded in 2017 by pioneering photographer Dan Piech, VAST values the technological craftsmanship, experience, and skill required to create photographic masterpieces.
