SMITH contemporary exhibits important, meaningful and necessary exhibitions from emerging, mid-career, mature (established), and blue chip artists. A majority of the work we exhibit articulates the current and past socio-political climate. Our artists have a signature, a sense of purpose and stand for something. We are more aligned with a museums focus on preservation, education and awareness. We want our community and the public at large to foster a greater understanding and appreciation of the World we inhabit and co-exist in hopes being a catalyst for humanity.
