Ben Miller Fly Cast Painting
(Live Performances through July 13)
Witness the inventive and extraordinarily unique art technique by painter Ben Miller, from Montana – discovered and represented by prestigious Gary Snyder Fine Art. Watch in amazement as he creates a jaw-dropping huge plexiglass abstract painting of a local endangered waterway, to be auctioned off on July 14 to benefit the South Fork Natural History Museum and Nature Center in Bridgehampton.

The renowned Parsons Dance takes the stage for the 2024 edition of HFAF, dedicated to integrating fine art with exciting world class contemporary dance and music.
Engage in the soul-nourishing delights of the art fair’s 600+ visual artists on display, with the added entrancing vibes of exhilarating movements generated by Parsons Dance. This high profile infusion of the visual arts with the dance arts is an art fair first, providing an “only in the Hamptons” event.
During the July 11 VIP Opening Preview, the eight-person dance company will perform twice in a reserved area in the Collectors Lounge and aisle of the de Kooning Pavilion. First up is a condensed version of Juke, a mesmerizing Jamar Roberts work set to the fabulous Miles Davis piece Bitches Brew that made its world premiere in May during the company’s Joyce Theater season. Beginning at 3:30pm, this afternoon VIP Opening Preview session benefits Guild Hall.
Parsons Dance will also perform the condensed version of the 2004 David Parsons cherished work Shining Star, the high energy romp that the choreographer made for the Alvin American Dance Theatre and Parsons Dance first performed in 2008. Set to music by Earth, Wind and Fire, the piece has been described by The New York Times as “a snazzy-looking, funny and sexy group dance.”

Young Collectors Night
A Hamptons’ first – Meet and mingle with members of Young Collectors committees from a litany of prestigious museums in the tri-state area. Independent young collectors are invited (under 40) to this convivial celebration of the arts and connoisseurship, while networking over fine wine tasting. These guests are pursuing their passion for possession. Join us at this fun networking mixer – share your collecting experiences while disclosing what artists are on your future acquisition list. It’s a great time and place “to see and be seen in the art scene.” Expert-led private tour of the fair, plus includes access to the entire fair.

Hamptons Artists Hall of Fame 2024 Induction Ceremony
We recognize and salute 6 accomplished East End based artists and sculptors. Ben is currently editor at INCOLLECT. He began his career as an art critic for the New York Times, in 2002, and since then, the editor-in-chief on several leading arts publications – Art + Auction, Modern Painters, Artnet News. He is also the former director of the Armory Show in NYC, 2015-2017. He is the author of Dollar Dreaming – an expose of the corruption and double dealing in the $500 million Aboriginal art market, published in 2008. Dr. Genocchio is considered one of the most astute observers of the current contemporary art market.
Special Guest Speaker: Louis Meisel – a tribute to artist Audrey Flack (1931-2024).
Ben Miller’s Painting Revealed
After over 6000 casting strokes over the course of three days, Ben Miller’s magestic 5 x 7 foot painting of Accabonac Creek will be revealed on Saturday at 3PM. One of the more astonishing aspects of Miller’s work is that the final painting is on the reverse of the plexiglass – when revealed, the painting is seen for the first time.” A portion of the revenue from the sale of this dramatic work will be donated to SOFO.org.
La Fete Blanche – The White Party
It’s time to wear all white and accessorize. Join us, decked out in trendy white, (the new black) as a pre-celebration to July 14 Bastille Day, France’s Independence Day, while sipping on elegant French wine – a fun meet and greet. Bright, bold and chic. Come as a your own blank white canvas. Expert-led private tour of the fair, plus includes access to the entire fair.
Special Performance: Annika Rhea is a New York based artist known for her performance painting technique Body Medium, where she creates complex large-scale abstract artworks with her body in motion. Her work combines dance, visual art, music and live projection. Annika Rhea has been awarded several residencies and has been invited to exhibit and perform worldwide, including at her most recent summer residency in Basel, Switzerland. Annika collaborates with celebrated musicians and creates a beautiful and transformative experience for viewers. This is her first performance at an art fair.
