Painting is a necessity enjoyed in solitude.

It’s that intimate activity in which what you want to say and what you don’t come to light. It’s the activity of unhurried freedom, without external pressure on what wants to come out of you. There, life takes on a new form where craftsmanship unites with the soul to express itself. I once thought it would be better not to show my paintings because I don’t have the talent I long for like that of the great masters; I never studied; but why not? Maybe someone would like to hear what I paint.
