Principle Gallery was established by Michele Marceau and began in 1994 at it’s first location on Cameron Street in Old Town Alexandria, VA. After three years on Cameron St, the Gilpin House at 208 King St became available and Principle Gallery moved into a new location. In 2012, Michele opened Principle Gallery Charleston, SC at 125 Meeting St. 

Since 1994 the intent of the Principle Gallery name has been to represent the highest quality in Contemporary Realism while maintaining solid principles that honor clients and artists. We pride ourselves in representing emerging, mid-career, and established artists with a distinct personal approach to their work.
