With humble beginnings in a 300sq foot outpost in New York’s Upper East Side, PHILLIP + DAN has quickly become one of the art world’s most unexpected emerging galleries. Since its inception in June of 2024, founders and brothers Phillip and Daniel Michaels have already pivoted from secondary market acquisitions to emerging talent, with emphasis on the contemporary pop art scene. The gallery has since expanded its presence to the west coast, bringing on Director David Dontsis to oversee a new space in the heart of downtown Los Angeles.
