Jodey Kerr is an American, multi media artist, raised in the suburban Detroit area. She studied fine arts at the School of the art institute of Chicago Il, which has influenced her urban contemporary style. Rather than relying on a single medium, her work as an artist incorporates a variety of materials such as paint, paper, fabric, and chalk, often pushing past the boundaries of traditional art forms resulting in a highly textured, dramatically engaging, one of a kind, piece of art. Jodey embraces the idea that there really are no rules or limitations in life, except for the ones that we put on ourselves.
