The Alex Beard Studio is the creative studio and fine art gallery of artist Alex Beard, a New Orleans-based painter and author known for his colorful “Abstract Naturalism” style that blends wildlife imagery with abstract expressionism. The studio showcases original oil paintings, ink drawings, limited-edition prints, books, and various products. Much of Beard’s artwork is inspired by the natural world and captures the intrinsic way in nature animals move. Beard is also a conservationist; in 2012, he created The Watering Hole Foundation, a 501(c)(3) public charity that raises funds for endangered wildlife as his way of giving back to the nature that inspires his creations.
